Who is the host of the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit?

Offshore Wind California is the host of the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit. They launched the event in 2019.

Offshore Wind California is a coalition of industry partners with a shared interest in promoting policies and public support for the responsible development of offshore wind power in California.

Its members are dedicated to providing an independent voice and industry expertise to facilitate offshore wind deployment off California's coast. OWC will undertake public education and advocacy of this renewable resource as part of a comprehensive solution to California's energy needs. Offshore Wind California is a nonprofit, 501(c)(6) organization.

What is Offshore Wind California's Mission?

Offshore Wind California's mission is to promote policies and public support for the responsible and sustainable deployment of offshore wind power off California's coast. Formed in October 2019, OWC is dedicated to public education and providing its industry insights and expertise to help advance this renewable resource as part of a comprehensive, diverse solution to meet California's energy needs and commitment to 100 percent renewable power by 2045.

Pacific Offshore Wind Summit will take place May 19-21, 2025 at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California.

What is the venue address?

The SAFE Credit Union Convention Center is located at 1401 K St, Sacramento, CA 95814.

The Pacific Offshore Wind Summit is using the West Lobby entrance - which faces 13th Street and is directly across from the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

What hotels are available for Summit attendees?

We currently have a discounted room rate available at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel. Located around the corner from the Convention Center, it provides easy access to all of the Summit sessions and activities.

Does the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit offer any travel services?

No. Neither Offshore Wind California or the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit offer any attendee travel services. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Summit or make arrangements through their own company's travel services.

If you are contacted by anyone claiming to represent the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit or Offshore Wind California to assist with travel arrangements, please be aware this is fraudulent activity and we advise you not to engage with them.

How do I register for the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit?

What is included in the registration fee for the event?

The registration fees for the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit cover access to all of the sessions, meals, and networking activities included in the Summit agenda. If you purchase a full access pass, your ticket will give you entry to the entire program.

Will the event be broadcast or have a virtual component?

At this time, we have no plans to broadcast any element of the event or offer any virtual viewing of the presentations.

Can I cancel my ticket for a refund?

If you are unable to attend the Summit, please notify us as soon as you can.

Refunds are available as follows:

  • Full refunds are available if notification of cancellation is received by February 1, 2025.
  • A refund will be issued on any cancellations received between February 2 and April 6, 2025, minus a US$100 administrative fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after April 7, 2025.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else if I am unable to attend?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Just send us an email with the request.

Is it possible to get a Media or Press Pass to the Summit?

A limited number of media and press passes are available for the Pacific Offshore Wind Summit. Press passes provide full access to the event and are complementary. If you are interested in receiving a Press Pass, please send your request to the Summit Event Team for consideration.

MEALS
Is lunch provided?

Yes. Lunch will be provided as part of your ticket to attend the Summit. In addition, we will have a light breakfast served each morning of the Summit plus a variety of snacks and beverages offered throughout the day.

Is there a fee for parking at the Convention Center during the Summit?

There are parking garages located near the Convention Center where you can park for a fee.
